If you’re looking for a new hobby and are in a creative mood, crochet is just the thing for you. Learn how to wield a hook and create something special in this Classie course for beginners.
This course is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn basic stitches, such as double and treble crochets, chain stitches, slip stitches, and their abbreviations; how to change colours; and even try your hand at a granny square towards the end of the class.
Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. Participants will be provided with all the equipment on the day, including a hook, sample patterns, and a ball of yarn.
A free beverage is also included as part of the course
Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Refund Policy: Full refunds given with 5 days notice. Dates can be changed with 3 days notice.

I thought the event was fantastic.
The venue was perfect & suited the class unlike the last class I attended where we were perched on high bar stool in a nosy bar.
I also have nothing but praise for Cheryl the teacher. She was so friendly, helpful and forecoming with her knowledge. The class format was perfect and focused on learning the very basic of the craft i.e the stitches & holding the needle before trying to master the art of making a granny square.
I can't praise Cheryl enough & I certainly left with a much better understanding of crochet than after the previous class I attended. 5/5 by Catherine Couzens 18-6-2017

I enjoyed the class, the 3 hours went very quickly. I was fortunate to have had a little experience so didn't find it as difficult as some. I liked the venue, there was plenty of parking in the close surrounding area (pub car park), Sheryl was very nice and generous with her time. 4/5 by Sandra Wilson 22-5-2017
The venue was lovely. 3/5 by Lori Blagaich 21-5-2017
Cheryl was a very patient instructor who encouraged all students to persevere. It appears that crochet is not a skill easily aquired in 3 hours! This was a good introduction, but I will have to practise regularly to maintain what I did learn. 4/5 by Rena O'Sullivan 21-5-2017
