If you’re looking for a new hobby and are in a creative mood, crochet is just the thing for you. Learn how to wield a hook and create something special in this Classie course for absolute beginners.
This course is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn basic stitches, such as double and treble crochets, chain stitches, slip stitches, and their abbreviations; how to change colours; and even try your hand at a granny square towards the end of the class.
Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. Participants will be provided with all the equipment on the day, including an aluminium hook, sample patterns, and a ball of yarn.
Come along to a Classie course and learn another lifelong skill.
Please note: This class requires a minimum of five people to proceed. Bookings are essential.
Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Refund Policy: Full refunds given with 5 days notice. Dates can be changed with 3 days notice.

the instructor was very good and explained the skills clearly and took the time to help everyone. I am left handed and was so pleased that the instructor was able to show me by crocheting left handed- really very helpful, thank you . I think there was just too many people in the class as there was 11 people so it took the instructor time to get around to help each person that needed it. the instructor was very encouraging and positive. 5/5 by Carol Barton 24-7-2017

Well organised with a friendly and informative teacher. Venue cosy and coffee welcome. Take home goodie bag cute. 4/5 by Kate Santleben 23-7-2017
we went over everything at a good pace and to go home and practice means to do everything slowly and to practice makes perfect - because we had a few in the class it meant not going over everything on the sheet for example changing wool and finishing off - but i read my sheet at home and think i am doing it correctly. 4/5 by Susan Sawyer 26-6-2017

Sophie was a very good teacher, and as there were only five of us we got plenty of individual attention. I am happy to have learnt the basics and now just have to practice! Thank you, Sophie. 4/5 by Gara Baldwin 27-11-2016
Great, however, could have done with more time. The teacher Sophie was terrific and was willing to stay longer, however, I couldn't which was a shame. 4/5 by Suzanne Blackmore 1-11-2016
