If you’re looking for a new hobby and are in a creative mood, crochet is just the thing for you. Learn how to wield a hook and create something special in this Classie course for absolute beginners.
This course is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn basic stitches, such as double and treble crochets, chain stitches, slip stitches, and their abbreviations; how to change colours; and even try your hand at a granny square towards the end of the class.
Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. Participants will be provided with all the equipment on the day, including an aluminium hook, sample patterns, and a ball of yarn.
Come along to a Classie course and learn another lifelong skill.
Please note: This class requires a minimum of five people to proceed. Bookings are essential.
Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Refund Policy: Full refunds given with 5 days notice. Dates can be changed with 3 days notice.

Sophie was a very good teacher, and as there were only five of us we got plenty of individual attention. I am happy to have learnt the basics and now just have to practice! Thank you, Sophie. 4/5 by Gara Baldwin 27-11-2016
Great, however, could have done with more time. The teacher Sophie was terrific and was willing to stay longer, however, I couldn't which was a shame. 4/5 by Suzanne Blackmore 1-11-2016

Mum & I had fun in this class. Donna was extremely patient with those of us ( me) who had difficulty in the beginning, the class size was good - 6 of us, so everyone was able to have one on one with our teacher. A nice way to spend a Sunday morning. 4/5 by Sharon Rice 29-8-2016

Had a lot of fun and started leaning to crochet, so mission accomplished. The venue was nice, taking home the wool and hook and instruction sheets was excellent. The instructor Sophie was lovely and very patient, though we all got a bit lost at one stage when it got a bit technical for us. All in all a good time, thanks 4/5 by Jill Taylor 25-7-2016
