If you think youíve seen everything that Brisbane has to offer, then why not try looking at it through an artistís eyes? It doesnít matter how long it has been since you last put pencil to paper, Southbank's cultural precinct will inspire and nurse your inner creative spark.
This class is comprised of mini drawing classes at unique locations around Brisbane, capturing what you see from direct observation onto paper. Each location is specifically chosen by the host, whether it be for a great view, a particularly interesting landmark, or the opportunity for a lesson in technique. You will cover perception and proportion, line, tone and value and so much more.
Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. A variety of materials will be provided on the day, including paper, pencils, charcoal, and pastels. A complimentary beverage will be provided at the sit-down venue.

The class was amazing, Jennifer gave everyone so much encouragement, she was so well organised, as a total novice I felt that I learnt a great deal and had a very enjoyable morning meeting new people and having fun. Thanks Jennifer and Classie 5/5 by Helen Murphy 9-8-2017
The timing, layout, movement between the locations, beverage at the final location, toilet breaks, weather: it was all fantastic!
We were in the full-on sun at the first location, so the recommendation on the instructions about suggested items to bring if you like are valid. Having a blanket or chair to sit on is definitely a good idea, and a personal shade item (such as a hat) is recommended. 5/5 by April Lauer 9-8-2017
Fun, informative, relaxing. 5/5 by Georgina Worldon 8-8-2017
Excellent teacher in Jenni - very supportive and obviously cares about her students. Really liked how we learned some fundamental basics and got a taste of a lot of different styles and mediums. 5/5 by Louise Vincent 7-8-2017
Loved this class from beginning to end. Jennifer gave me confidence that I could actually put something on paper. I think being outdoors and going to different locations was a great idea and also trying different mediums was so much fun. Thank you Classie for helping me develop a wonderful hobby. Loved the size of the group and the enthusiasm of the teachers. 5/5 by Christine Scherer 6-8-2017
