Knitting is a craft that has withstood the test of time because it is versatile, practical and easy to learn. It is also a relaxing social activity and great for keeping idle hands busy during casual conversations.

This course will start with the basics and caters to beginners of all ages. Youíll start with the basic stitches, working through to your first finished piece under your hostís tutelage.

Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. Participants will be provided with all the equipment on the day, including a set of bamboo knitting needles, a wool darning needle, and a ball of extra chunky yarn.

Classes are available fortnightly on Saturday afternoon's for a cosy wool session, with a non-alcoholic drink of your choice. Kick back with a drink and enjoy the company and conversation with fellow lovers of knitting.

Ciara was very patient and her instructions were very clear. I have never knitted before, but I can now say I can knit!

Event was informative. The host, Ciara, was wonderful, easy going and patient with someone like me who took a while to get started. The venue, Father's Office, was great too, a relaxing environment. At the end of the session, I felt I had enough knowledge to continue knitting on my own. and look to taking this basic skill to the next level.

Ciara was a great teacher - she did a wonderful job of tailoring the class to the slightly different levels of participants which is a tough thing to do! She is very knowledgable and was happy to answer all sorts of questions! Lovely venue! I hope to attend another class in the future once I've consolidated my beanie knitting skills!

I loved the location. Such a beautiful area upstairs - nice and quiet to enable us to concentrate. Ciara was a great host and was able to answer any questions we had and fix any problems as well. I'm impressed we were able to finish a beanie project in one day!

I really liked the atmosphere, the equipment provided and the instructor Keira was very helpful. My only gripe was the group was experienced at knitting as I am a beginner so didnt quite finish my beanie when others did! Overall I really enjoyed it!

Ciara is very friendly and approachable. It is a small group with 3 of us, which happens to work well as we are really new to knitting and do have a really slow start.

This was lots of fun and very entertaining. The instructor, Keera, was very helpful and patient with me even though I had the hand-eye coordination of a muppet. I would definitively sign up for this again.
