Knitting is a craft that has withstood the test of time because it is versatile, practical and easy to learn. It is also a relaxing social activity and great for keeping idle hands busy during casual conversations.
This course will start with the basics and caters to beginners of all ages. Youíll start with the basic stitches, working through to your first finished piece under your hostís tutelage.

Classes are available fortnightly on Saturday afternoon's for a cosy wool session, with a non-alcoholic drink of your choice. Kick back with a drink and enjoy the company and conversation with fellow lovers of knitting.
Bookings are essential.

It was fun and making a hat was a great joy as well as being practical. 4/5 by Juri 16-5-2016
I loved the location. Such a beautiful area upstairs - nice and quiet to enable us to concentrate. Ciara was a great host and was able to answer any questions we had and fix any problems as well.
I'm impressed we were able to finish a beanie project in one day! 5/5 by Angela Zahn 15-5-2016

The Intro to Knitting course was lots of fun. Venue was great ! Kiara our instructor was very friendly, enthusiastic and gave clear and concise instructions. It was a lovely afternoon and we made a beanie😝 I can't wait to start another knitting project!! 5/5 by Therese Kelaart 15-5-2016
I really liked the atmosphere, the equipment provided and the instructor Keira was very helpful. My only gripe was the group was experienced at knitting as I am a beginner so didnt quite finish my beanie when others did! Overall I really enjoyed it! 4/5 by Alicia Donovan 1-5-2016

Ciara is very friendly and approachable. It is a small group with 3 of us, which happens to work well as we are really new to knitting and do have a really slow start. 3/5 by SHWU HUA GAN 23-2-2016
This was lots of fun and very entertaining.
The instructor, Keera, was very helpful and patient with me even though I had the hand-eye coordination of a muppet.
I would definitively sign up for this again. 5/5 by Claire Williams-Camm 8-2-2016

Good venue, trainer, course price and timing. Having a paytern that could be completed on the day (or nearly) was great. 5/5 by Bree Wilkinson 6-2-2016
Very good. Laura was great, very helpful. I was not actually the person doing the class as I took my 8 year old grandchild to do it. At first she was getting a little frustrated - I feel mostly because the needles are probably a little too long for that age but as she persevered she really enjoyed herself and was very proud to come home with her "beanie"!! 4/5 by Isabella Brice 9-1-2016
Thanks Rachel! You made it a fun and relaxed afternoon. I learnt lots of new things and had some great conversations with people there too. 5/5 by Leah 13-12-2015
I enjoyed the class very much and look forward to follow-up classes. Rachel was an excellent teacher. 5/5 by Betty Gracias 12-12-2015
It's a great class. I would have preferred a few more schematic diagrams and handouts. I can't recall how to cast on or cast off and a flow chart of diagrams would help. I suppose there's youtube. 4/5 by Terence Borg 1-12-2015
It was organised and Rachel was very good. She helped each of us individually and was very patient. 4/5 by SHARU VARGHESE 29-11-2015
