If you’re looking for a new hobby and are in a creative mood, crochet is just the thing for you. Learn how to wield a hook and create something special in this Classie crochet class for absolute beginners.
This class is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn basic stitches, such as double and treble crochets, chain stitches, slip stitches, and their abbreviations, and then apply the basics to start your very own Granny Square.
Class sizes are kept small so each participant will have a chance to interact with the host on a one-to-one basis. Participants will be provided with all the equipment on the day, including an aluminium crochet hook, sample patterns, and a ball of yarn.
A complimentary non-alcoholic beverage is also included as part of the class price.
Come along to a Classie Crochet for Beginners class and learn a lifelong skill.

Jenny was a fantastic instructor, and I learnt a lot in the class. Would have loved some more time and further chances to go over a few points but it was a lovely afternoon out. 4/5 by Kellie Mclaren 9-7-2018
Great venue and close to public transport. Jenny was great. Really attentive and easy to follow. I had done crochet before as a teenager, so for me it was a refresher. Lovely group of ladies all there for different reasons and at differing levels of learning. 4/5 by Jody Kelly 8-7-2018
Enjoyed tha class and thought the teacher was excellent. Think that eight people maximum for the class would be the way to go. There were ten in my class and that’s a lot of people to deal with when they’re beginners and need hands on attention at times. Environment was good. We all quickly relaxed and involvement was high. 4/5 by Susan Littlechild 5-6-2018

A good introduction to crochet for absolute beginners. The added drink was a nice touch and it was good that we had a small pack to take home and keep. 4/5 by Tanima 18-7-2017
Manna was extremely helpful and patient and gave very clear instructions that were easy to follow. To my surprise I was able to pick it up quite quickly and had 2 squares completed by the time the class finished. Would definietly recommend to others and would love to see a follow up class to learn a few more techniques a tips. 5/5 by Rosemary Keogh 17-7-2017

Amazing teacher 🙂 4/5 by Mandy Vis 16-7-2017
It was okay. A few too many people for the instructor to spend time with people like me who were struggling to get the hang of it. 3/5 by Sandra Barnes 2-7-2017
