Learn crochet and make new friends. The Hobart Crochet Club organises crochet classes run by Professional Crochet Instructors for beginners, all the way up to experienced crocheters.
Time: Saturdays 1pm - 4pm
Locations: The Duchess Cafe, Sandy Bay
Beginners Class ($69pp) This class is designed for those who have had little to no experience with a crochet hook. You will learn the crochet basics and terminology and we'll get you started on your very own granny square.
Other Classes ($69pp) Perfect for those who've already done our popular Beginners Class!
- Corner to Corner Class (C2C)
- Crochet Stitches Class
- Amigurumi 101 Class
We ask that everyone attending a class follows social distancing guidelines:
Stay home if you're sick.
Don't make unnecessary physical contact with others. Avoid physical greetings, such as handshakes, hugs and kisses.
Wash your hands regularly with alcohol-based sanitiser.
Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Use a flexed elbow or a tissue; if you use a tissue, dispose of it immediately and appropriately.
All our classes include crochet materials and instruction.
Students will also receive a non-alcoholic drink during the class.
If our class is more than 8 students (max 10) we will provide extra time at the end of the class
