Ribbing
Follow the instructions
explained here for the ribbed edge on the hat.
After the first row, the edge of the hat should measure 14cm across.
When you have finished the ribbing, sew in any yarn tails and your slouchy hat is complete!
You may wish to decorate your hat with a flower. I have followed
this pattern to make a ruffled rose for my hat. When you finish the rose, leave a long yarn tail - about 20cm - which you can use to sew the rose onto your hat.

A simple crochet rose will add extra prettiness to your hat
I hope you enjoy making your slouchy hat as much as you will enjoy wearing it!
